Abstract

Purpose : A purpose of this study was to examine the demands of discipline program and develop the program suitable to cadets.

Methods : This study was conducted in methodological study with the analysis and the design steps of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation(ADDIE) among instructional design models. First, on the analysis step, in order to examine the necessity of the discipline program, focused group interview of 16 novice nursing officers and 8 experienced nursing officers who were in charge of disciplinary action was conducted. Secondly, on the design step, analysis of discipline programs of 4-military academy including Armed Forces Nursing Academy (AFNA) was held. Then, content validity of the program was verified with six of current officers.

Results : The developed discipline program suggested 19-specific programs and management methods. And the guiding course for discipline program and 4 extra programs were added to the original.

Conclusion : This study has a great significance in the aspect of presenting diverse characteristics and practical needs to the discipline program at AFNA.
